The dust has settled on this year’s Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta and official estimates show a small decline in attendance over 2019.
An estimated 783,866 guests attended the nine-day event, which took place between Oct. 2 and Oct. 10, according to figures released earlier this week. This year’s event marked a return to an in-person setting for the first time since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
