Bill to provide business grants heads to New Mexico governor's desk

Legislation that will provide $200 million in grants to boost New Mexico businesses now heads to Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, who has indicated she will sign the bill.

Sponsored by New Mexico House Speaker Brian Egolf and Rep. Christine Chandler (D-43), House Bill 11 will provide qualifying businesses up to $100,000 to assist with the hiring or rehiring of employees, according to a news release.
