City council gives thumbs up to Netflix incentive package

In a unanimous 8-0 vote, the Albuquerque City Council voted “yes” on a $4.5 million Local Economic Development Act incentive package for Netflix on Thursday night during a special meeting. LEDA is a financial incentive used by the state and local governments as a closing fund to recruit new businesses and grow existing businesses in New Mexico.
