Central New Mexico Community College announced its new president Tuesday night: Tracy Hartzler, currently the college’s vice president of finance and operations.
Outgoing President Kathie Winograd has served in her role for 12 years. Winograd said this spring that she would retire when her successor is hired or by June 30, 2020, whichever came first.
Hartzler will begin her presidency in 2020 at a date to be determined.
