First Look: Check out the renovated Flying Star Cafe in Nob Hill

The chairs are returning to the floor at Flying Star Cafe in Nob Hill.

The local establishment is opening again after closing Aug. 1 for a three-month, $900,000 renovation at  3416 Central Ave. SE. The renovations include new finishes, an improved new seating plan, a new kitchen and new furniture. Jean Bernstein, owner and CEO of Flying Star, said this renovation to the building, which was built in 1944, is contributing to a renewed energy in Nob Hill.
