Up to $5.5 million will be made available to Native American-led projects in New Mexico through a New Mexico Foundation program announced last week.
Native American Recovery Fund zone grants can be used for long-term recovery needs in indigenous communities. The New Mexico Foundation is currently accepting proposals for eligible projects until Oct. 14.
Eligible projects include those that address:
Family economic security
Local health systems
Local food systems
Opportunity youth
