Here's how much Pat Gelsinger could make as CEO of Intel

With $100 million in performance-based stock grants, Pat Gelsinger could make as much as $116 million in his new role as CEO at Intel Corp., (Nasdaq: INTC) new regulatory filings reveal.

Gelsinger is set to start at Intel, which employs more than 1,800 in Rio Rancho, next month. He’s taking over for Bob Swan, who is stepping down after four years. 

Swan made $66.94 million last year, more than any Bay Area CEO other than Alphabet Inc.’s Sundar Pichai, who made $280.62 million, according to the…
