Homegrown engineering firm lands $15M Air Force contract

Albuquerque aerospace engineering company LoadPath has secured a contract worth nearly $15 million to assist the Air Force Research Laboratory at Kirtland Air Force Base with advanced spacecraft systems.

Under the contract, the company will support future Department of Defense space missions by advancing spacecraft structures, thermal systems and agile manufacturing, according to a press release from U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich’s office.
