Houston company purchases Albuquerque Toyota dealership

A Houston-based Fortune 300 company announced it has acquired Albuquerque’s Larry H. Miller Toyota. The Copper Avenue dealership has been renamed Sandia Toyota.

Group 1 Automotive Inc. (NYSE: GPI) acquired Larry H. Miller Toyota just a few months after its was acquired by a Georgia company. Group 1 Automotive’s New Mexico portfolio includes eight franchises representing Lexus, BMW, Mini, Land Rover and Jaguar brands. It’s also the 17th Toyota dealership in Group 1’s U.S. portfolio.
