How ABQ stacks up on cost of living compared to 74 other cities

On a list of 75 of the nation’s most populated cities, Albuquerque is considered one of the least expensive places to live.

Sister company Phoenix Business Journal compiled data from Move.org, which examined cost of living for 75 cities across the country. Albuquerque came in at No. 67 on the list of most expensive cities, with average monthly expenses of $1,500. Albuquerque was the only New Mexico city that made Move.org’s list.
