For at least a week, businesses around the Albuquerque area have adapted their procedures as cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus have crept closer to New Mexico.
Those efforts have extended to the region’s national laboratories.
And now that state health officials have identified five “presumptive positive cases” and temporarily banned gatherings of more than 100 people, Sandia National Laboratories and Los Alamos National Laboratory say they are prepared if more drastic actions are needed.
