Marcus Mims, principal at CliftonLarsonAllen LLP, has been tapped as chairman of Economic Forum for 2019.
Mims had been a member of Economic Forum for four years, serving as vice chairman for Mike Canfield, the outgoing chairman, in 2018.
Mims said Thursday he was approached by Bob Murphy, executive director of Economic Forum, and other members about joining the board. He accepted because of the role Economic Forum plays in the city and state, he said.
“For me, it was a privilege,” Mims said.
