A British company has acquired Santa Fe-based Nambé.
Portmeirion Group PLC purchased Nambé for $12 million, according to the Albuquerque Journal. Nambé, known for its aluminum bowls, generated $18 million in sales, according to the Journal.
Founded in 1951, Nambé was family-owned. Its products are made from a metal alloy, unique to Nambé, and a 15-step casting process.
