Nearly two dozen broadband projects green lighted for rural New Mexico

The Public Regulation Commission approved 23 projects Thursday to supply broadband internet service to nearly 33,000 residents living in underserved geographies across the state, according to a news release.

The projects will be paid for in part by New Mexico’s State Rural Universal Service Fund, which supplements the cost of communications infrastructure in low-income and rural areas.
