Netflix spent more than $150 million in New Mexico in 2019

A year after finalizing an agreement to make Albuquerque its first United States production hub, Netflix reports it has exceeded its initial spending goal in New Mexico.

The New Mexico Department of Economic Development Department and Netflix announced Wednesday that the California-based streaming giant spent more than $150 million, hired over 1,600 cast and crew members and worked with more than 2,000 production vendors in 2019, according to a release.
