Albuquerque city councilors have yelled “Action!” to Netflix’s lease at Mesa del Sol.
On Monday, the Albuquerque City Council approved the sublease and the master economic development lease between the State Land Office and Netflix. Under the agreement, approximately 130 acres of state trust land and 170 acres of private land will be leased to the California-based streaming giant for its second billion-dollar expansion at Mesa del Sol.
