New Airbnb data shows big growth in the state

The short-term rental industry has had a considerable economic impact on New Mexico, new Airbnb data indicates.

Last year, around 4,000 Airbnb hosts in the Land of Enchantment brought in a combined $48.8 million through 366,000 guest arrivals, according to the company. That’s about 36 percent more users than traveled to the state using Airbnb in 2017.
