Users of the North Domingo Baca Center will soon be able to get a workout in too.
Ground broke in February on a new gym for the community center at 7521 Carmel Ave NE. Albuquerque-based Mick Rich Contractors is the general contractor for the project after the city of Albuquerque awarded the contract following an open bidding process. The project is expected to be completed next April.
