For the past 20 years, Matt Oberer has literally helped build Albuquerque.
An architect by training, he has worked as a project manager, construction administrator and associate architect. He spent 15 of those 20 years at FBT Architects. His last day at the firm was Sept. 17.
He left the firm to turn what has been his side hustle since 2009, Mattophoto, into a full-time operation. Oberer’s photography business is focused on, well, architectural photography.
