State economic development officials hope to have a draft of an economic assessment completed by June 1. That assessment will form the outline for a comprehensive, 20-year strategy that can bring higher paying jobs to New Mexico and help build the private sector.
To reach that deadline, New Mexico’s Economic Development Department has contracted with a research company to reach out to regional governments and economic development organizations.
