New venture capital fund invests in Santa Fe tech company

Another venture capital fund just made its first investment.

NMA Ventures, which funds early-stage, high-tech companies in New Mexico, invested $300,000 in Fusion Funnel, a sales intelligence software company based in Santa Fe.

NMA was created in 2017 by local investors John Chavez, Dorian Rader and Sherman McCorkle. In May, the fund received $1.6 million from the Catalyst Fund, which invests in growing venture capital firms throughout the state and is managed by Santa Fe’s Sun Mountain Capital.…
