Two global call centers with a New Mexico presence filed separate Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notifications with the state over the past few weeks.
Miami-based Sitel Group, a month after it was reported its Albuquerque call center was set to close, notified the state of 535 layoffs. Positions affected include customer service representatives, coaches, apprentices analysts, managers, among others.
