Sandia National Laboratories announced Monday night that Dr. James S. Peery will be the lab’s new director, effective Jan. 1.
Peery succeeds Stephen Younger, who will retire at the end of 2019.
Peery currently serves as associate laboratory director of national security sciences at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee.
