Sandia National Laboratories nearly tripled the number of servicemen and servicewomen brought on over the past year, bringing on 240 between October 2017 and the end of September.
That’s a sharp uptick from the last year’s total of 70, which represented about 5 percent of all hires. Veterans this year represented 13 percent, which is over double the 6.4 percent benchmark set by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Compliance Programs.
