Santa Ana Star, Isleta become the latest tribal casinos to announce closures over coronavirus concerns

Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel became the first of the tribal casinos near Albuquerque to announce a closure in an effort to stem the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

The closure will last for a period of 30 days that began at at 11:59 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release. The casino’s hotel tower will be closing over the next few days as guests depart, the news release said.
