As of Thursday, New Mexico has new liquor laws based on bipartisan legislation that overhauled the rules for businesses.
Giovanni Martinez, general manager of The Copper Lounge cocktail bar in Albuquerque, said his establishment plans to take advantage. Under the new laws, retailers, dispensers, craft distillers, winegrowers, small brewers and restaurant licensees can obtain alcohol delivery permits, allowing for adult beverages to be delivered to people’s homes.
