What New Mexico's winning candidates said they would do

It’s official: the 2018 midterm elections are over.

Well, almost.

Last Wednesday, Democrat Xochitl Torres Small was named the winner in New Mexico’s 2nd congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, narrowing defeating Republican state representative Yvette Herrell to succeed Steve Pearce and flipping that district blue. The vote was decided by about 8,000 votes, according to KOAT.
