Normal operations within New Mexico’s tourism industry came to a screeching halt as Covid-19 entered the state. Instead of promoting visitors to plan vacations during the summer, tourism efforts shifted to promoting virtual visits and acting as a source for updated Covid-19 information.
With 2020 in retrospect, the industry is working towards a future for 2021 that will welcome visitors safely once again and restoring major events such as the International Balloon Fiesta. While the return to normality…
