New Mexico Operations, a division of the Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC) was founded in 1964 as part of the U.S. Atomic Nuclear Testing program. In 1994, the KCNSC, then AlliedSignal, assumed responsibility for the Department of Energy’s New Mexico Operations in Albuquerque. New Mexico Operations is just a part of the highly sophisticated and advanced manufacturing facility at the KCNSC.
